Artificial Grass Direct – Terms and Conditions

Thank you for considering Artificial Grass Direct. We want you to be delighted with your new grass and to help your purchase go as smoothly as possible we have produced the following guide so you will know exactly what to expect from us.

Price Beater Policy

Artificial Grass Direct guarantee that you will not find any of the products displayed on this site at a lower price anywhere in Britain. In the unlikely event that you do find exactly the same goods on offer at a lower price, simply provide us with a written quotation or advertisement from the competing retailer and we will refund 110% of the difference! This guarantee does not cover artificial grass remnants, imperfect stock or “free offers”.

Payment by credit or debit card

Payment using a debit card or credit card is required at the time of order. Payment is made via Stripe, one of the most secure payment methods on the Internet today. Artificial Grass Direct will automatically acknowledge your order via e-mail. If, for any reason, your goods have not been dispatched within 30 days of your order being placed you have the option to cancel your order and receive a full refund.“We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties”

Cancellations and returns policy

If for some reason you need to cancel your order before delivery please let us know as soon as possible. If the goods have not been cut/dispatched we will cancel your order and refund payment to your credit card.If the goods have already been cut/dispatched we may be able to cancel the delivery, however, you will still have incurred the delivery charge and our standard 10% restocking fee (30% restocking fee for pieces that are 2m x 3m or smaller and 4m x 3m or smaller). This covers the cost of any wastage/ re-cutting that may occur as a result of re-stocking the goods. The balance of the account minus the delivery charge and re-stocking fee will be refunded.

If you have received the goods and wish to return them then this can be arranged provided that you pay the carriage plus our standard 10% restocking fee (30% restocking fee for pieces that are 2m x 3m or smaller and 4m x 3m or smaller). The balance of your account minus the carriage and restocking fee will be refunded once we have received the goods back in good condition. If you received free delivery you will be charged the delivery rate for your area and the weight of goods supplied. The goods must not have been cut into and should be wrapped.

If you wish to return a product, please inform us by e-mail sales@artificialgrassdirect.co.uk or call on 01772 629654 within 14 days of delivery.We regret that we cannot accept returns once the artificial grass has been cut or used in any other way.

Your Guarantees

Artificial Grass Direct want you to be totally satisfied with your artificial grass. That’s why we give a 12-month guarantee against any manufacturing defect on all artificial grass that we sell. It is unlikely that you will experience a problem. If, however, a defect becomes apparent within the first 12 months after delivery Artificial Grass Direct will rectify the problem.

Please inspect your artificial grass upon arrival and before fitting.

Once you have received your order, please ensure that you roll your grass out (preferably not on sand initally) and allow it some time to breathe and check the product for any faults. In the unlikely event that your goods are faulted on arrival please let us know prior to installation and within 7 days of delivery. Your artificial grass can then be returned for either a full refund or replacement. For your concerns to be resolved we sometimes require the benefit of inspection. We therefore reserve the right to have the artificial grass inspected by a manufacturer’s representative before work can be carried out.

Shading and The Effects of Normal Use

In common with all pile fabrics, artificial grass may shade. This occurs when the pile is brushed or lies in different directions and therefore reflects light differently. The extent to which your artificial grass will show the effects of shading depends upon its construction, design and use. Deep pile grass will probably show your footprints and this is a shading effect. This is not a manufacturing defect and will not affect the wear life of your grass. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee against the effects of normal use. Pile will flatten more quickly in areas of heavier use. In some artificial grass this will be more noticeable than others. This is not a fault and will not affect the wearability of your artificial grass. A great deal of effort has been made to ensure the colours of artificial grass shown in photography on this site are as accurate as possible. Each colour has been carefully matched to its appearance in natural daylight. However, colours may well appear slightly different on your monitor and different again under the lighting conditions in your home. We therefore recommend that you take advantage of our free sample service to give you an accurate representation of the actual colour and quality. Dye batches also vary and therefore it may be possible that your artificial grass does vary very slightly from the sample or any previously purchased product. In the event that you are trying to match up to an existing product, we recommend that you contact us prior to placing the order so that we can try our best to ensure a batch match.

Size Tolerance

All sizes quoted are approximate. Very slight variations are unavoidable and a tolerance of plus or minus 1.25% is allowable in accordance with clause 3 of British Standard 3655 of 1981. We would always recommend to build your borders at least 3cm shorter for 2m width grass, 5cm shorter for 4m width grass and 8cm shorter for 5m width grass.
