What are acoustic wall panels?
Acoustic wall panels help promote better sound quality in a space. They feature a felt backing to absorb and filter sound, eliminating unwanted frequencies. Our elegant acoustic wall panels are made with sustainable, recycled felt for an eco-friendly approach.
We also offer a range of slatted designs made from authentic wood veneer to create a cosy and timeless look. From light Washed Oak to striking Black and Dark Blue designed to make a statement, explore our collection of different colours to find the right look for your space.
All of our acoustic panels are made to the highest quality and safety standards and are engineered to be fire-resistant.
What is the difference between acoustic panels and soundproofing?
While both acoustic panels and soundproofing materials aim to control sound within a room, they work slightly differently. Soundproofing is designed to completely absorb soundwaves so that noise doesn’t travel beyond the room or space.
Acoustic panels, on the other hand, focus on reducing resonance. They don’t eliminate sound completely but absorb certain mid and high frequencies to minimise any echo and improve sound clarity within the room. This makes them a great option for offices, living rooms, restaurants, and meeting rooms where sound quality is important, but you don’t need to completely isolate it.
How do you attach acoustic panels to the wall?
There are a couple of ways you can attach your acoustic panels to a wall. Firstly, you can use a strong adhesive — and some panels even come with the adhesive applied already. Alternatively, you can screw the panels into the wall.
It’s always best to check the manufacturer’s directions so you can apply your acoustic wall panels effectively without causing any damage to the wall below.
How many acoustic wall panels will I need?
This really depends on the size of the space. Whether you’re adding your acoustic panels to all four walls or creating a feature wall, you’ll need to measure the dimensions and order enough panels to cover the desired area.
The acoustic panels we stock here at Artificial Grass Direct are 240cm x 60cm, so you can use this to guide how many you’ll need to order.

Acoustic panels FAQs
Do acoustic panels actually work?
Absolutely — they are an excellent way to lower unwanted sound levels.
Do acoustic wall panels block outside noise?
Acoustic wall panels are designed for indoor use and can lead to better internal sound quality. However, they are not designed to block noise from outside, you’ll just have to stick to your artificial grass!
Should I put acoustic panels behind my TV?
Placing acoustic wall panels behind your TV can help minimise any noise your neighbours may hear. It’s particularly useful if you live in a flat or have particularly thin walls with poor sound insulation.
