Install a weed barrier over the area, followed by a layer of base material such as crushed stone or gravel for good drainage. Next, install edging around the perimeter to hold the artificial grass in place. Cut the artificial grass to fit the area and lay it out over the base material, ensuring to install artificial grass underlay. Be sure to cut the edges neatly and overlap any seams by at least 2–3 inches. Finally, secure the artificial grass using landscaping fixing nails or adhesive and add infill material if necessary.
